Cookies do not always directly identify a natural person on their own, but in certain cases, together with other data, they may qualify as personal data. 6. Use of Google Analytics
Google Analytics allows us to receive statistical information about how visitors use the public website and landing pages. This data helps us understand which pages are useful, where visitors leave the website, and which campaigns bring interested visitors.
The data collected by Google Analytics may include, for example, page views, events, device data, browser data, approximate geographical location, and campaign parameters.
The purpose of analytics measurement is to improve the public website and measure the effectiveness of campaigns. The use of analytics cookies is subject to consent. The visitor may withdraw or modify their consent at any time.
The Google Analytics data retention setting is 14 months.
Google Analytics is not loaded on registered user interfaces.
7. Use of Google reCAPTCHA v3 for protecting the public contact form
Google reCAPTCHA v3 may be used to protect the public contact form. The purpose of reCAPTCHA v3 is to reduce the risk of bots, automated spam submissions, mass submissions, or malicious form submissions.
reCAPTCHA v3 may perform a risk assessment in the background and may use cookies or similar technologies, as well as local storage elements, for this purpose. These may include, for example, _GRECAPTCHA, SIDCC, __Secure-1PSIDCC, __Secure-1PSIDTS, __Secure-3PSIDCC, __Secure-3PSIDTS, and other cookies used by Google for security purposes. These technologies are related to the secure operation of the public contact form and are not used for marketing or traffic measurement purposes.
reCAPTCHA may only be used on the public contact form page. It is not loaded on the home page, other public information pages, or registered user interfaces, and no data is transferred to Google for reCAPTCHA purposes from those pages.
Based on the operation of reCAPTCHA, a form submission may be accepted, rejected, or subject to further manual review. This review does not qualify as automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning the data subject or similarly significantly affects them.
8. Cookies related to the Barion payment interface
Online payment may take place through the Barion payment interface. During the payment process, the visitor or user may be redirected to the payment environment provided by Barion, where Barion may use cookies or similar technologies for its own operation, security, fraud prevention, and payment completion.
The cookies and related technologies used by the Barion payment interface are described in Barion’s own privacy and cookie notices. Polaris Innovation Technologies Kft. does not use Barion marketing or remarketing measurement code on its own website.
Bank card data is entered and processed in Barion’s system. Polaris Innovation Technologies Kft. does not receive or store full bank card data.
9. Consent management
When the visitor first opens the website, they are presented with cookie choices. With the exception of strictly necessary cookies, cookies subject to consent may be used only if the visitor has given consent.
Consent must be voluntary, specific, informed, and unambiguous. The visitor must be able to reject non-necessary cookies and later modify their choice.
- Non-necessary cookies are not activated before consent is given.
- The options to accept and reject are clearly available.
- Settings can also be modified by category.
- Withdrawing consent is not more difficult than giving it.
- An easily accessible link or button is available on the website to reopen the cookie settings.
reCAPTCHA v3 is a necessary protection technology related to the secure operation of the public contact form, so it is not part of analytics consent. If analytics consent is rejected, Google Analytics is not activated.
